About 2 weeks ago while we were shopping at walmart we decided to buy Evan a recorder for 1 dollar. We thought it was a cheap toy that did something he hadn't seen yet, and maybe he could learn how to blow. The first time we showed him how to use it, we then buckled him in his carseat for the drive home. The whole way home he was waving the recorder in the air and examining it while "singing" the same sound that we had made by blowing into it (well, pretty close), we thought it was pretty darn cute. Well, last night he figured it out!

Garrett found the toilet paper roll when he was about 14 months. He would try to run off with it because ours is not actually attached to the wall, but on a stand. He looks so happy and cute. I am glad he enjoys music too!
Ha! That is a great trick for Evan to learn...those toilet paper rolls are exciting to play with!
Evan looks great. I'm glad to hear things are going so well with him! We have to get together soon!
