Happy Easter! from Evan

We went to church yesterday for an egg hunt. We also colored eggs and got prizes it was a lot of fun. Right when we got to church I saw the most amazing thing. The Easter bunny! I walked up and checked him out for awhile, and then wanted up in his lap.

I really like the easter bunny. Later when we were coloring eggs in the basement of the church I scared the bunny because I came up behind and grabbed it's legs. It didn't know what was touching him! I wanted up for another hug. The easter bunny couldn't resist me!

It was amazing, the bunny was at the zoo too! I ran right up and said "up, up, up". I really like the easter bunny. The easter bunny seemed surprised, and didn't quite know what to do with me, he he. I guess most little kids are afraid of him, I wonder why?

Giving the bunny love. Mom had to pull me away so the other kids could have a turn.

There were clowns at the zoo too! This one made me a puppy out of a balloon. When I blew on the tail.....

it got fat all the sudden.....wow! This clown said he had a puppy in that leash, I told him there was "no puppy". He said there was and it's an airdale, clowns are silly.

We found eggs at the zoo too, and when you brought them to these people they put paint on your face. I wasn't sure what to think of that, it was new and different. I guess this is a turtle, mom says.

This time when we fed the sheep we threw the food in the cage and said "catch".

Hey, what do you think of my balloon? It "broke", but "it's ok".

Pictures!

Well, it's been a long time since I've updated with pictures so there's a lot of them. Enjoy!

This is just a picture of a tree I thought was really cool on our trip to Gooseberry falls. Can you believe the size of those pine cones?
Gooseberry falls. Weekend of march 20th.

Evan riding in his backpack carrier at the falls.

I thought he was really cute here wit his legs all crossed and all. Unfortunately I didn't notice his finger prints on the lens until after the picture was taken : (

Being a kid is hard work. The carseat is a great place to catch up on your rest.

With the warmer weather Evan has been asking to go outside everyday from about the moment he wakes up. Here he is helping us rake the lawn.

On March 10th we celebrated a momentus occasion. Evan's g-tube came out!!! We made a video to share with everyone on the blog about the whole thing, but were unable to get it to work. Here's a picture of the cake Stephan made to celebrate though.

We went snow shoe-ing. Evan rode in the back pack carrier most of the way, but he had to come out too look around.

A coworker gave Evan a desk their kids weren't using anymore. Evan think's it's great, mom thinks it will be perfect for crafts and time with playdough. Thank you!

Evan likes going for hikes riding in his backpack carrier with daddy.
He also likes sticks and evidentially it was quite fun to put this one on dads head while they walked.

Checking out hartley nature center.

This "tree broke" dad.

Playing on his slide with Daddy.
Who says you can't have fun outside in the winter in Minnesota?

We went to the zoo with some friends, Evan insisted on holding hands, we thought it was pretty dang cute!

Feeding the nice llama who didn't spit at us.
